    The National Flower, the Chaconia, (Warszewiczia Coccinea), called "Wild Poinsetta" or "Pride of Trinidad and Tobago" is a flaming red forest flower of the family Rubianceae. The title is in honour of the last Spanish Governor of Trinidad and Tobago, Don Jose Maria Chacon

    ​The Chaconia Support Group's, primary goal is to encourage the interchange of information and support between American organizations that help children and similar organizations in Trinidad and Tobago.

    The Chaconia Support Group, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization based in Boston, Massachusetts. The purpose of the corporation is to provide social and mentoring services to children with mental and physical impairments in the Caribbean with particular emphasis on Trinidad and Tobago
